The files listed below are also known as e/pop 'My Files'. These files are created when a user runs e/pop for the first time. The 'My Files' are unique for each user except the mylocation files which can be shared if e/pop is configured to run as a shared install. By default the 'My Files' are stored in the same folder where the e/pop client starts. However, the administrator can change the location of the 'My Files' so it adapts to environments that uses Roam Profiles or when multiple users share the same computer without Roaming Profiles.
Description of e/pop 'My Files'
- myidentity.idx & .dat files which are used to store the unique identity of the user running e/pop
- myhistory.idx, .dat & .blb files store all incoming instant popup messages.
- mymacro.idx, .dat & .blb files store all the message macros.
- mylocation.idx & .dat files store the IP address of the e/pop server.
- myshortcut.idx & .dat files store all the objects in the My Shortcut folder.
Steps to configure e/pop for Roam Profiles
