PC Remote Control
e/pop includes desktop sharing and live, PC remote control software. You can easily request or grant remote control of any Application, or
Desktop being shared. You can right click on a user, request or grant remote access, or just click on the PC Remote Control icon (two PC's).
This icon appears on the toolbar of the item being shared (desktop or application). If allowed, the user has keyboard and mouse control over the remote PC. If the
web conference has more than two participants, all users see the remote access software session. Stopping the session is easy: either the host, or
user sharing their Application or Desktop just click the "Stop Sharing" button on the upper-right. As an added protection, the user sharing their
Application or Desktop can hit a hot key mapped to ‘stop remote control’ at any time.
The entire remote control session sends its traffic via the e/pop Web Conferencing server. Since this server is at a fixed IP address, and uses port 80
and http, it achieves high levels of proxy and firewall compatibility, so you can provide remote control software for remote users, customers and business partners.
