WiredRed^® Software Taps Industry Veteran Steven Peltier for CEO Position

San Diego, Calif. – June 7, 2004 – WiredRed^® Software, a technology leader in enterprise real-time communications software, today announced the appointment of Steven Peltier as Chief Executive Officer. Formerly the CEO of ICS/Advent, Peltier brings more than 20 years of senior-level executive management experience during which time he successfully led sales, channel, business development and company expansion efforts on a global scale. He fills the position previously held by company founder Allen Drennan. Drennan will immediately assume the role of Chief Technology Officer and will also remain Chairman of the Board.

As CEO, Peltier will be responsible for making the company’s vision of becoming the market leader in Real-Time Communications software a reality. He will oversee the company’s channel and business development efforts, and overall growth and expansion. Peltier will help WiredRed to strategically target and penetrate new markets for the company’s e/pop® product lines, which includes e/pop secure instant messaging, alert notification and web conferencing software. e/pop Web Conferencing enables individuals to communicate with voice, video, application/desktop sharing and remote control in real-time. It is an on-premise software solution that provides companies and organizations with a viable, technically advanced and less expensive alternative to web conferencing services.

During his 20-year career as a senior-level executive, Peltier has acquired hands-on experience in all facets of business including operations, marketing, sales and raising and managing the capital resources of companies in the early to mid-stages of growth. He was formerly the President and CEO of San Diego, California-based ICS/Advent Corporation, which designed, manufactured and integrated industrial PC-based computing platforms for industrial automation, telephony and data center applications for companies such as AT&T, British Telecom, France Telecom, Telephonos de Mexico, Northern Telecom and Lucent. Peltier co-founded the company in 1987 and was instrumental in the company’s global growth, achieving revenues of more than $100 million, and standing as the third-largest supplier of industrial computers in the world.

Prior to ICS/Advent, Peltier was the Chief Financial Officer of The Sickels Group, a diversified real estate development company headquartered in San Diego. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California (retired status).
