WiredRed is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy applies to the
WiredRed web site (wiredred.com), e/pop Hosted Services (epopcentral.com), and
customer surveys that may be included in our trial software (collectively, the
“Site”). By accessing the Site, you are consenting to the information collection
and use as further described below.
Privacy Policy
We treat personal information collected on our web site as confidential. We do
not sell or rent our customer list. All reasonable care is taken by our staff in
handling your personal information to ensure its security both online and
offline.
WiredRed reserves the right to disclose your personal information if required by
legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our company, its
employees, customers, or the public.
In addition, for product inquiries and trial software registrations outside the
U.S.A., WiredRed reserves the right to forward your inquiry or trial
registration to a WiredRed authorized reseller.
Changes in Privacy Policy
All personal information collected by our site will be subject to the version of
the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of such collection. WiredRed reserves
the right to update and change our Privacy Policy at any time, in our sole
discretion. When we make changes to our Privacy Policy, we will revise the date
shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site constitutes your
agreement to this Privacy Policy and any updates.
Types of Information We Collect
You may browse the Site without submitting any personal information. As further
described below, we may collect personal information when providing software
downloads and related support services.
Electronic Forum Registration
WiredRed requires users who want to participate in the WiredRed support forums
to register. Registration requires a username (which does not have to be your
real name), password and a valid e-mail address. You may keep your e-mail
address hidden from other users by selecting that option within your user
profile.
When you register, you have the option of providing additional information such
as occupation and homepage URL. This optional information is made available to
other bulletin or message board users to foster a sense of community. If you
have any concerns about providing this information, simply leave the fields
blank.
- Special notice regarding electronic forums: It is important for you to remain
aware that when you provide personal information in a posting on any electronic
forum, that information is available to others using that forum. For that
reason, we discourage you from offering any personally identifying information
within a posting to any forum.
Trial Software Registration
Our download request forms and trial software may require Registration. The
information collected is used by WiredRed to support and improve the software
evaluation process. Registration requires a contact name, company name and an
email address, additional information is optional. You may abandon Registration
at any time.
Purchasing and Credit Card Information
Our online order entry pages are a secure means of ordering our products. If a
secure connection cannot be established, the order-entry page will not be
displayed. The personal and credit card information you provide when ordering
products is considered confidential and covered by this Privacy Policy.
Technical Support
Any personal information you provide to WiredRed in the course of contacting
sales, customer service or technical support is considered confidential and
covered by this Privacy Policy.
Cookies, Browsers & I.P. Addresses
In order to improve our Site, we may use “cookies” to track your visit. A cookie
is small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a Web server and
can only be read by the server that gave it to you. Most browsers are initially
set to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a
cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it. For some
web pages that require an authorization, cookies are not optional. Users
choosing not to accept cookies may not be able to access those pages.
In addition to cookies, the WiredRed web site automatically logs the IP/Internet
address of your computer, your browser version, referring URLs and general web
visitor information used by our web traffic reporting tools. This information
may be linked to your Registration information, and your navigation around the
site may be tracked. We use this information to understand how our site is being
used so we can improve the site and offer appropriate products and services to
our customers.
Web Beacons, Counters & Private Entry Pages
WiredRed web pages may contain electronic images known as web beacons, sometimes
called single-pixel gifs, other coded image files, and/or private entry pages
(pages with no other links from the WiredRed web site) that allow WiredRed to
count users who have visited those pages. WiredRed may include these types of
counting devices in its web pages, e-mails, and other electronic materials in
order to count traffic and/or determine readership statistics.
Cookies & 3rd Party Service Providers
Some of these Cookies and/or Counters may be placed by third party service
providers to help determine the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns or
email communications. Doing this allows the service provider to recognize your
computer each time you visit certain pages or emails and compile anonymous
information in relation to those page views and report aggregate page view and
advertising statistics. WiredRed’s Privacy Policy prohibits the use of 3rd Party
Service Providers that collect or access personal information. This Policy also
prohibits keyloggers, spyware, and malware.

WiredRed is committed to protecting the security of your personal information.
We use a variety of technologies and procedures to help protect your personal
information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store
the personal information you provide on computer servers with limited access
that are located in controlled facilities. When we transmit sensitive personal
information (such as a credit card number) over the Internet, we protect it
through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

WiredRed uses the personal information and anonymous statistics it collects from
our site to:
