Server Hardware Requirements
The e/pop Alert server is the heart of our alert system. It is responsible for routing all traffic between users. The WiredRed Real-Time routing engine has been highly optimized over many years of use, it is capable of routing large amounts of traffic without encountering CPU bottlenecks. System performance is generally governed by the bandwidth available to each user.

users, and/or if have you questions or concerns about these requirements.

- 8 MB RAM (64 MB RAM recommended)
- Pentium or better (PII recommened)
- Network card

- Single P4 2.0 GHz or better
- 512 MB or better
- 100 Mbit network connection
- Windows Server 2003 (with all service packs)
- Server should be configured as a member server if there is a Windows Domain.
- Dedicated for ePop Server or no other IP based applications active.
